If you have recently discovered mold growing on your walls and you are worried about the health problems you may suffer if you don't remove it then check out this process for mold removal.

Mold most commonly grows in damp moist environments, which is found in between your average dry wall. Once a leak is made or a constant supply of water is exposed to the inside of your walls you will begin to notice mold growth. There are literally hundreds of species of mold, some are harmful while others are not, but just to be safe you want to remove any spotted mold as soon as possible.

The first step in removing the mold is identifying it. This means puncturing your drywall, and finding out what species and how much of the mold is growing. Finding out the species will allow you to know if it is harmful, and if you need to move out of your house for the removal. Once you have found the mold species you want to find every single growth spot in your walls, this is best done by a professional to ensure that there will be no mold left behind.

Once you have the mold identified the professional, or if you are knowledgeable you yourself can begin spraying a brand of poison that will kill the mold and stop its growth. This is similar to the spraying of ant poison through a nozzle and pump. You want to make sure that a nice layer of the poison is spread all over, and around growth spots to ensure the mold will be killed. Once the first layer is sprayed you will have to give it a day to set and wait to see the results. Once you wait a day and come back you will notice that the mold on the outside edges of the growth will start to show a decay in growth and the beginning of the dying process.

You will need to spray for the next couple of days depending on the poison you use, to ensure that all mold growth is halted. Although this can all be done by you yourself it is highly recommended that you hire a professional who has the equipment and knowledge base to get the job done.

So overall if you are suffering from a mold infestation look into hiring a professional to go through the mold removal process.
